I used to believe the sun was my friend until I was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma. Quickly after learning this I left the Nuclear Medicine field and became obsessed with skincare and
its health and protection. I pursued my education as a Skin Care Specialist at Rizzieri Aveda School. After graduating I accepted a position as a Medical Esthetician where I performed Hydrafacials, body contouring and laser treatments. I quickly was promoted to a lead Esthetician. Although I was extremely grateful for the opportunity I realized skin was my sole passion and inspired to open my own salon where I could make skin a true priority. With the help of my boyfriend Max and his family I was able to make my dream a reality!
Along with skin health and preventing skin cancer & premature aging I personally know the emotional battle that comes with having acne. Back story, in 2012 at 18 years old I had a doctor diagnose me with Ovarian Failure who then proceeded to tell me I will not be able to conceive in my future. Heartbreaking I KNOW. But along with the devastating news at such a young age my body was going through legit menopause, you know the hot flashes, night sweats, extreme irritability that you’re not suppose to get until you‘re 50! So, to help me feel like a "normal teenager" I was put on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) HELLO ACNE!!! As someone who struggled with acne for a few years and the subsequent mental & emotional pain that skin issues can cause, I strive to be the professional, educated, and passionate esthetician my clients deserve!
